Jason Wucetich is a founding partner of Wucetich & Korovilas LLP.  He earned his bachelor's degree in economics and political science from Stanford University and his jurisdoctor degree from the University of California, Davis.  Mr. Wucetich served two years on the U.C. Davis Law Review.  Mr. Wucetich began his practice at two internationally renowned law firms in Los Angeles.

Mr. Wucetich's practice focuses on civil litigation.  Mr. Wucetich has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of matters for clients that include Fortune 100 and 500 companies.  He appears regularly in state and federal court and has extensive experience in general business and complex commercial litigation in the areas of trade secret, fraud, breach of contract, copyright, trademark, real estate, and breach of fiduciary duty.  Mr. Wucetich has litigated consumer class actions, wage and hour class actions, and employment matters, including claims under federal and state laws for overtime, missed meal periods, and failure to reimburse business expenses.  Mr. Wucetich's practice also encompasses unfair business practice claims involving violations of California Business & Professions Code section 17200.

Mr. Wucetich has extensive, first-hand trial experience and is well trained in all aspects of civil litigation from pre-filing research and strategy through verdict.  Mr. Wucetich has first-chaired five jury trials and second-chaired four jury and bench trials.  In addition, he has litigated more informally thorough mediation, arbitration, and other alternative dispute resolution programs.  Mr. Wucetich's focus always remains on achieving the best result for his client in the most effective and cost efficient manner.

Mr. Wucetich also maintains a strong interest in pro bono matters.  He previously represented a charity for more than 5 years involving a will and trust dispute for an estate worth more than $12 million.  Mr. Wucetich played an integral role at trial in defeating the fraudulent transfer of millions of dollars in trust assets.  The California Supreme Court refused to overturn the trial court's ruling in favor of Mr. Wucetich's client and other trust beneficiaries.

Mr. Wucetich is a graduate of the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Trial Advocacy Project.  As part of the TAP Program, Mr. Wucetich served as a volunteer prosecutor in the Los Angeles City Attorney's office.

Before attending law school, Mr. Wucetich participated in the Jesse Marvin Unruh Assembly Fellowship in Sacramento where he was a legislative aide to Assemblyman Steven T. Kuykendall.  Mr. Wucetich later played a key role in Mr. Kuykendall's Congressional campaign in Los Angeles and became part of Mr. Kuykendall's federal staff upon his election to the House of Representatives.

When he is not pursuing justice for his clients, Mr. Wucetich enjoys travel, water and snow skiing, and playing tennis with his wife.
