Jason Wucetich is a founding partner of Wucetich & Korovilas LLP and has been a litigator and trial attorney for over 20 years.
Mr. Wucetich earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Stanford University and his jurisdoctor degree from the University of California, Davis. While in law school, Mr. Wucetich served two years on the U.C. Davis Law Review. He began his practice at two internationally renowned law firms in Los Angeles, where for years he represented Fortune 100 and 500 companies in a variety of commercial litigation matters, ranging from general business disputes to consumer, employment, intellectual property, and real estate matters.
Since co-founding Wucetich & Korovilas LLP in 2010, Mr. Wucetich’s practice has focused primarily on plaintiffs’ side class action litigation in the areas of consumer protection and employment law. He has secured over $300 million in relief on behalf of hundreds of thousands of consumers and employees in both California and nationwide, and served as court-approved class counsel in hundreds of cases in both state and federal court. Mr. Wucetich represents groups of plaintiffs in class actions that assert claims against corporate defendants, including based on data breaches, the mishandling of consumers’ and employees’ personal identification information, fraud, false advertising, unfair competition, automatic renewal billing scams, illegal robocalls and spam text campaigns, misclassifying employees as independent contractors, failure to pay employees for all time worked, and failure to reimburse employees’ business expenses, among other things. Mr. Wucetich also has a focus on representing federal employees in claims against the U.S. government for employee misclassification and improper pay practices in the Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Wucetich has extensive, first-hand trial experience and is well versed in all aspects of civil litigation from pre-filing research and strategy through verdict. He has first-chaired numerous trials to verdict and, in addition, has litigated more informally thorough mediation, arbitration, and other alternative dispute resolution programs. Mr. Wucetich’s focus always remains on achieving the best result for his client in the most effective and cost efficient manner.
